About the Artist

Originally from Florence, Italy, Zoe Cinel is an interdisciplinary artist and curator based in Minnesota. Formally trained as a designer, Zoe’s interdisciplinary practice includes performance, public art, documentary filmmaking, printmaking, installation and new media. Her work has been screened/exhibited/performed at the Walker Art Center (MN), the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MN), the Gibney Dance Choreographic Center (NYC), Festival della Creatività (Italy) among other venues. Since 2018 Zoe has been part of CarryOn Homes, a collective of immigrants devoted to bringing stories of migration to public spaces using art and storytelling.
