Release and Embrace

Artist Statement  

In my work, I utilize watercolor with bold colors and figurative imagery to comment on the extreme highs and lows I’ve experienced. Recently, this has included: adventure, excitement,  heartbreak, loss, depression, love, transformation, and breakthroughs. For me, this work represents how I’ve grown and come into my own with my art, my sexuality, and my purpose.

The mural and digital projection components were added to create a more immersive experience for the viewer. I hope the viewer takes away feelings of excitement and curiosity.
