For the past year and a half, the Art Galleries asked artists to share how they are struggling, innovating, and caring for themselves during this time. The purpose was to give insight into the nuanced, changing, and varied approaches this time requires, to remind us that–while each experience is unique–we are not alone in what we are currently experiencing.
Placed together, these reflections invite you to explore moments of resonance, moments of contradiction, and moments of understanding. Connecting the various responses weaves together a collective experience in which we can both see and learn about ourselves.
This March, marking two years into the pandemic, we invite the Augsburg community to add their own reflections to the gallery on how they too are navigating this time.
Designs and drawings for this project were created by Art & Design students: Fatemeh Astani, Melaina Distad, Tho Vu, Nou-Chee Chang, Ani Cassellius, Zena Vue, and Cara Grand.
