Minnesota-based H. Manu Kannare has been concentrating on abstract and realism painting since 2020. 

Manu's evolution into abstract and realistic painting supports her post-traumatic journey towards discovering herself. The blending of abstract and realism constructs an understanding of what was and is—her past, present, and future. Manu uses bold, expressive faces on figures in unique environments to push her work as a storyteller.
