The reason I make art is that it explores my identity as a person and I feel a deeper connection with myself. It Makes me feel that I can do good in the world with my artwork. My artwork is more about objects illustration with watercolor and collages. The reason I prefer watercolor is that I love exploring it and figuring out different techniques as I am going about my art piece. When it comes to using the watercolor for me I never overthink what I am doing with it I just let it flow on a piece of paper.
How I go about my process of my artwork is that I look at inspiration from other homes' illustrations artists or interior magazines. Then I start to sketch random shapes and figures to see what I can come up with. As I am doing this, I am learning something new every time. I know I am not an expert yet but knowing It just takes practice and patience which is okay with me, having fun with it is the most important thing for me. In the future I hope to make larger pieces of artwork.
