13.4 COLLECTIVE

Our mission is to amplify the voices of our community in order to make a change. 13.4 Collective is black led and made up of black visual artists and designers. We are organizers who are process driven and intentional and proactive instead of reactive; creating to educate, share, and express the black experience. We represent 13.4%


OLIVIA HOUSE is a graphic designer from the Twin Cities, living in Chicago. She has worked across multiple industries and produced work from publication design to large-scale murals. House focuses primarily on print design, branding, and exhibition design, with social impact being at the core of her practice. She hopes to use design in a variety of media to teach, heal, and build community.

“This show is meant to express what our world should be: a world in which Black femmes are able to live a life without pain or suffering; a life full of light.”

 

SILENT FOX is a graphic designer and visual artist from Minnesota. She created her own name in 2016 to identify with her artwork. The name 'Silent Fox' comes from her belief that silence allows one to reflect on today's world and creates a journey to discover meaning in life. She holds a BA in studio arts and graphic design. Her artwork is constantly evolving using a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic, and digital illustration.
